What cleaning products do you use on your bike? How do you give it that extra shine?
Its that simple.

For fairings/painted parts use Autoglym Super Resin Polish. Thumbs Up

As stu said, but also for the black bits round the clocks etc you'll be wanting armorall stuff, like back to black but better.

This is the place to go....

Meguiars wax, can not be beaten.

Autoglym is good too, but not as good as this stuff.

If you really want to go silly, use the 3 stage, prep, polish and protect system. The bike will look like new!

Hot water with some generic car cleaning stuff that makes it foamy.

'Gunk' degreaser for the oily bits if I'm feeling really keen (or bored).

It's just going to get dirty again. If the weather's nice enough to wash it, it's nice enough to go out for a ride. Smile

I've just been to the extreme of having a little bit of white spirit on a cloth and going over all the paint work. Got spots of tar all over everything. Some fool decided to lay 2 miles of loose chippings on my favorite route to work!
