just thought that i'd left hand only typing let you guys know about me breaking my collar bone this wednesday on my bike.

I was going about 60 down a country road on my tw125 when - i think - i hit a log in the road. i remember my bike taking off but not hitting thr floor. my bike was found a couple of hundred metres away, not too badly damaged. my motox helmet is a tad screwed though. i regained consienceness 20 minutes later - apparently - being woken by a paramedic putting a neckbrace on me and a policeman asking me questions.

I've broken my collar bone and messed up my right leg quite badly. I've also got a blister on my hand where my glove heated up so much sliding on tarmac?! shouldnt be too much cost to fix my bike, so things arent so bad. had to cancel a holiday though - damn it! Smile

do i win an award or something? hehe

Oh No! Not Nice at all, Really sorry to here that, sounds like that’s put an end to your riding for a few months then . Glad to here you are OK more or less, and that the bike isn't too bad. When I wrecked a few months back I’m sure I was knocked out for about 30 seconds, and it took me a few days to remember the trip down the road while falling off (although like you I could remember hitting what caused the accident). Come to think of it I should see about getting my award! Very Happy

Hopefully you shouldn't be looking at too much to sort the bike out (mine was £230 in all to fix, £100 more than I paid for it!) Which is the benefit of having an un-faired bike, but knowing doctors you won’t be riding / driving again for about 2 months .

Oh well, heres to a speedy and painless (although you will probably ache like fuck for a few days) recovery for you and the bike! Thumbs Up

Unlucky, i broke my leg 4 months ago and its only just starting to feel better. don't push it too far when its healed either or you'll know about it the next day when you wake up and need painkillers constantly.

Hope you get better soon though.
