guy on a k7 gixxer thou tryed pulling a wheelie on this busy main road nearly fell off.... was no space to do one and was stupid

another guy was riding with only a helmet on with no t-shirt on let alone a jacket & gloves weaving in and out of traffic like a nutter but that wasnt the bad part his bike was well fucked i think it was a cbr 125 but couldnt really see it had 3/4 of the fairing ripped of and the last 1/4 hanging off along with his front light and was smoking like a chimney.

also a few nobs half naked with no helmets on riding crossers around the streets.

anyone else seen stuff like this ?

Had a total urge to go out with my trainers, shorts and t-shirt the other day. Would still have worn helmet and gloves but thought i was probably just being foolish so cracked open an ice cold cider and lit the bbq instead Smile

Went out in just a shirt and combats but kept it slow still had my gloves and hat on though. A bit of road rash on my body is managable but on my hands.....feck that.

Whats making me laugh is the ped riders who think there on a crosser track and stick there leg out on the bends.
Makes me wonder if there leg was to contact the ground and get traction would it snap or go under the bike throwing them off.

Ended up riding in jeans and a t-shirt the other day, went out with a jacket on to pick a (female) friend up, gave her my jacket 'cause she didn't have hers with her.

Now't wrong with it if you're sensible.

Went out for a good ride on Saturday, about 200 miles. Saw many, many riders of whom most were sensibly dressed considering the weather.

Did see a couple in little clothing including some rather overweight individual wearing a flapping t-shirt, baggy shorts and sandals making progress down the carriageway.

Meh, it brings out the stupid side to most people anyways.

I'm riding squid stylee through town. Just shorts, singlet/wifebeater and trainers. The sun just fries my brains and its a total safety override. Still wear full kit when going on a hoon or motorways though.

Talking about stupid things to do, i rode shirtless from the library on campus home (about 1 mile) since i thought sod wearing a T-shirt... but that's just lufbra campus and loads of fit totty about and everybody was pretty much scantily clad.

Me and a few other finallists are planning to ride just in our boxers and lid and do a lap of the campus on finallists week; should be a good way of testing his HeroGopro 5 wide

I used to do that when I'd first started riding my scooter, I used to be terrified that the scooter would slip out underneath me on corners so I used to put my foot out to make myself feel better. My foot contacted the ground many times, it would slide along the floor, kinda in the same way that if you get your toes down when riding you just keep going as normal, just messing up your boots a little.

I should probably take my winter lining out..

I hate it when the stupid fully new leathered up mid life crisis guys on brand new sports bikes power past me outside schools in places you just shouldn't speed then i come up behind them at the traffic lights and they are sat at the back, while i filter to the front.

Infact when this happened last week, the traffic lights had 2 lanes up to them, so you could filter in the one for turning right and then just join the front of the normal que.

Stupid bikers Mr. Green

As said, no.

When it was icy/wet on the CRM I did it all the time, no trouble and it saved my ass from getting personal with the tarmac a few times.

Looks silly on a ped, I'll agree, but whatever.

Try a small bird at 120 to the side of the helmet. And when you get to work you find guts and feathers on your leather jacket Laughing

last summer i saw some thing interesting. I was on my way home when i saw 2 young men on a 2stroke scram (that was completely racked) doing about 80 in a 30 with no helmet, no gloves no t-shirt, just a pair of jeans on each, shouting like mad men.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
