Asylum seeker hits girl while driving disqualified, she later dies, and he gets 4 months. AND IS ALLOWED TO STAY.
What a spineless, beige, drab, weak country we live in. The twat should be hanged for that.

Regardless of the side issues there really should be a more effective punishment for that crime and others like it, it is frankly sickening.

How long did that chap get for speeding? Twelve months I think. And this chap gets four months for killing a girl while driving while disqualified.

I'm trying to understand how speeding (on a fully legit bike) and hurting nobody gets three times as much imprisonment as killing somebody while driving illegally. Thinking Confused

Oh well, t'is but a video game.

i can understand why a judge wouldt want to send him to iraq i can also understand that if he had a license at the time and found the strength to stay at the scene he wouldt of gone to prison...

Why?

They're supposed to be seeking asylum because they are at risk back home, he comes here, disobeys the law, get's disqualified, then disobeys the law again and kills someone and runs off, are they the actions of a decent person who wants a better life? Send him back, the Iraqi's can bomb him or the soldiers can shoot him, I for one don't really care, he had his chance.

yea he fucked up and what? every one jumps on foreigners as though they are in some way meant to act impeccably whilst in our society.. hes not a decent person he got banned..every one on this forum has taken action on the roads that would lead to a ban if witnessed by the police...

hes not a decent person he drove whilst banned..in the bigger scheme of things amounts to fuck all and the driving license is no more than a taxation tag.

he ran from the scene...doubt very much it was due to not having a license at the time theres somthing about seeing a kids head in a wheel arch with the skin ripped off from half there face that gets ones legs moving...he should have stayed..hey hey i just killed your kid love...

its always so much easy to look at somone elses fuck up and slam that fist against the table:lol:we all do it...i personaly dont think its "right" to send him back until the country stable-ban the cunt and tag him until that date-if on the other hand he caused the accident through dangerous driving that would be a different story..but in this case all he did was a -no license- no GUTS to stay offense.

Still, it seems amazing that his actions have led to an apparently modest punishment. It can be difficult to separate the facts of the offences from the surrounding issues, but I would have thought that a persistent offender would be hit harder by way of punishment.

I appreciate that the 'asylum seeker' badge does invoke rage which may cloud the main issue, and yes, 'indigenous' people do take the piss quite well themselves.

Also interesting how long it took from the date of offence (2003) to conviction. The deportation argument must have really stuck a spanner in the works.

you forgot to mention he was also awaiting deportation!

The scum state of today doesnt look out for its own.

a bit off topic, but its just as out twat of a prime minister pledged to donate 2 billion pounds a year to africa, which I believe becomes legally binding by 2015.

its absolutely disgusting. there is no such thing as fair justice these days!

You know for the fact that the girl was responsible? Anyone who kills someone on the road will automatically be arrested under suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, it's then as usual upto you to prove your actually innocent, it frequently goes to court.

Yes i'm sure everyone here has done things that would result in a ban, if they then continued to drive while banned you're moving into different territory though. It's quite a reasonable assumption that as he was banned already (it doesn't say what for) and killed someone during the disqualification he's doing something wrong. And his circumstances (immigration status) should have a bearing on what is done with him, go and emmigrate to America and do the same and you'll be sent packing I assure you (maybe after you've done your stint in one of their proper prisons, not uk style hotels).

For a comparison of justice, the rubbish truck driver from New York who failed to take his medication and subsquently zonked out at the wheel killing a british couple got 20 years to life in prison...

Due to the lack of information on how this Iraqi guy killed the girl it's impossible to say if he was responsible, you can take what you do know and have a good guess though, driving while banned and running off, yeah i'm sure it was all her fault Rolling Eyes Or maybe as all the details aren't available we should give him the benefit of the doubt and assume justice is doing it's job and he was driving like a little angel on his way to pick up some flowers for the local childrens hospital when some savage 12 year old wrote his car off.

if you some how believe he would have got away with careless/dangerous/speeding in this instance i think you are wrong(the amount of effort they put into to these events to find the cause does not let such things slip past)...if the person had a license and did not run off that wouldt have stopped the accident..give blame for whats to blame and nothing more.

as for running off thats weakness i dont in any way think its right..but i understand it,no one here can truly state what there reaction would be to finding such a scene (unless accustomed to it)
it would take an extremely strong character to stand and face that situation..some people lack that strength to condemn them is weakness and pointless.

if he was fully insured licensed and on his way to give flowers that would make it all ok wouldt it just one of those things hey?..but as he had no license and is an immergrant lets say it must be all his fault nothing else in the world could have caused it!

hes broke the rules of the country and will be deported at the moment his country has a bit of british brass flying about at the speed of sound so he wont be leaving for some time but he will pay for his mistake every day for the rest of his life so lets all hate him and make the world go around!

4 months what a fucking joke, you can get more than that for not paying your council tax, he drove whilst disqualified that deserves time in itself, then he fled the scene of an accident again add time, he didn't fuck up he broke the law he was banned for a reason, and as for everyone on this forum taking action that would lead to them being banned no I don't think I have I drive pretty safely, no license no guts he had a license and flounted the law he got banned.
You say people jump on asylum seekers not always the case you live or visit a country you obey the law, there is a contingent of asylum seekers who come into the country and play the system as do many uk born, both groups come under scrutiny from time to time, but saying that the person is a foreign resident of the country sells papers and inflames the growing divide of them and us cos people are sick of propping up other countries and their problems when our own country is on the shit heap. As the saying goes you look after number one.

good good youve never broken the speed limit or deviated from the rules of the road in anyway- you have the legal right to kill what ever runs out infront of you as your paper work is in order..me i see it all as the same if the driver is not at fault/the cause of accident the paper work means shit other than it being noted as lacking at that time and being prosecuted for it..unless of course we all agree that a driving license is a license to kill?
