Hi there all. I have a problem that's tricked me out :S So here goes:

The bike has been sitting in the garage for 2 weeks due to bad weather and today I decided to give it a blast. So out I go to give it a wipe down and start her up and all was ok. i let it warm up to check all was ok. an hour later I decide to go out and switch the ignition on but got delayed as the garage door played up lol (highbeam was on as it waited) and when I went to go on it the press of the ignition only resulted in a "buzz" from under the passenger seat and wront turn on :s everything else is all ok.

I think I need to charge the battery so I came and borrowed. friends battery charge. What do you guys think?!?

Thanks alot in advanced

The buzzing may have been coming from the starter relay and the battery just needs some charge.

I can definantly hear it and feel it vibrate when I touch the rear seat. All other lights and horn etc are working fine but like you said I think the battery is weak. How can I check if the battery should be replced?

You drained the battery by leaving the lights on?

Charge it up and panic over.

Laughing

long:

im guessing when you press the button the relay closes, when the relay is closed the starter takes all the juice but not enough to turn it over, shutting off the relay, then the relay closes again when the motor isn't drawing power, hence the buzzing as it goes on and off rapidy

short:

charge it.
