Didn't know what section to post this in, but it's a bike and it's a picture Laughing

I need a favour from someone with the know-how of photoshop.

Now everyone has one of them pics that means a lot to them, could be the shittest bike ever but who cares, it's the memory.

well this is mine.

And what i want, is for someone to edit it just a little bit... can't remember what it's called but something to do with getting an overexposed and underexposed shot, and joining them together to get a certain effect? That oculd be an idea.

Anyway, here is a link to the image.

https://i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt325/duncdmc/DSC00107.jpg?t=1261871795

Anything will be appreciated.

and no cracks about it being a CG with one mirror, it's my picture and i like it for my own reasons Mr. Green

Cheers

I first had this

https://i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt325/duncdmc/hdr.jpg?t=1261876912

Then had another shot and ended up with this

Real HDR photography requires that several pictures be taken at the same time as the original. It's because of the way cameras handle light exposure, which is quite poorly really. We can adjust the light exposure (which affects colours and so much about the shot), but if we go too high we lose lots of light information about the darker tones and shadows and if we go too low we lose so much light.

In short, real HDR captures a huge range of exposure and shoves it in to one photograph. To do this properly you have to capture that range from the source. Once your picture has been taken you can't extract information out of it that isn't there!

So we take a dark and a light pic and shove the results in to one basically. This link explains it pretty well!

https://hubpages.com/hub/HDR-Photography-Explained--HDR-Cameras

So no, sorry, but photoshop will never be able to create something truly HDR.

^ ^ ^ ^ what he said, BUT!!!! It's completely useless if you don't know the settings to mess with when making the photo.

Wow cheers man.

Reason for the size of the image is that i can't actually upload it, because it's over 1MB... and photobucket screws with my images.

Would you be so kind as to do it again, if i email you the original file?

Cheers
