I'm in plym and would like to see this creation. I have mates with vans/trailers and a day trip up to davidstow airfield would be good maybe?

Always fun to piss about up there on two wheels so four should be fun.

I'm confident that my mates would happily swap van/trailer time for a go on it sometime in the day!

Is that 'open to all' there then?

Looks like the reggie did a runner from the cops down public road at the end!! Rolling Eyes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3U_qvd3CTEo#t=3m34s https://l.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/30.gif

Also looks like the clutch is operated from the LH peddle, am I right in thinking that neither of these contraptions have any brakes?? Thinking

p.s. Although clearly a load of chavs, driving it illegally and begging for an ASBO, I think the kart sounds cool and surprisingly fast considering the power-plant Thinking

Well theres no fence if thats what you mean.

Its technically private land but theres always some boy racers on learner drivers about.

They still fly microlights up there so it is prudent to keep one eye on the sky and make sure you arn't fucking up someones landing run....

Actual micros are quite few and far between tho and as long as you keep out of their way and then everyones happy. I've never had any trouble up there before.

The planes stick to the perimeter track mainly but don't assume and just stay aware Thumbs Up

A few old sheds and the control tower to explore too!

i've got to ask (even though it is probably a stupid Q) but why did you put the engine in that orientation?

ah i was thinking he might have kept the gearbox, and was wondering why not just run it from the normal sprocket.

the engine is shaft driven, i kind of like it in that way because if it was in normal orientation the hot exhaust would be too close to my head for my likeing,

You should be able to smell it if it;s running rich, very petrolly, also oils burns with white or blue smoke.
