I had the same happen to me earlier in the year on ice. No input to steering, brakes or throttle, the damn bike just went from underneath me.

Pretty much exactly the same thing happened to me last week on the ride into work, sadly I decided to crash in a fairly busy carpark instead

I should have seen it coming when my foot path was iced up good, but the roads on the way in were absolutely fine, I turned into the carpark, looked to maneuver over to the left and the front wheel decided it'd rather go right instead, I don't think I've ever been put on my arse so quick

Still, at least it was on the GS and it now has matching go faster scuffs on both sides, the car park was so slippery I could practically have pushed the thing over to the bike parking on it's side. Good times

60kph is 37mph (and 30mph is 48kph).

I presume you are listing in KPH for our european chums? ... so perhaps that is including the euro exchange rate, or 12kph of commission?!!?
