dtr crank shaft play

i recentlay swaped my kx85 for a dt that had aparantlay blown up,

on receving the dt i striped the engine, and it turnd out the keyway on the clutch side had sheard off, causing the balancer shaft not to spin and the bike vibrate like crap. i also discoverd the crank seals were in bad condition, i was told by the previous owener that the crankshaft in it is out of a dtre? i split the cases and replaced the main berings and seals all was fine for about 4000miles.
then i sized the engine. on removal and inspection the topend and checking for big end play the crank. i noticed i can push and pull the flywheel sideways in engine, what could be causing this ?

Assuming that the flywheel is securely on the taper and tightened up correctly also that the primary drive gear is securely fitted and the nut is not loose.

At a guess you have had a bearing cage on the crank fail, or less likely, you have snapped the crank shaft,

both would need a strip down and replacement parts,

i did that on my rx 50 but it stoped dead the dt never missed a beat, the engine runs fine with the new topend?
