Do they generally bother how many bikes you own or change etc? I rarely keep a bike for long as I always see something else I want to try hence changing over. Do they have a limit before asking Q's ?

I don't think so.

I've had 23 bikes in about 3-4 years and haven't heard much from them.

Buying and selling bikes at a profit and not declaring the income? I'm sure the Tax man has fingers in lots of pies.

What would be the problem if they did ask questions?

I haven't heard anything.

I heard that you can legally buy and sell up to six vehicles a year until you're considered a motor trader in the eyes of the HMRC.

However if you don't make a profit on any of the vehicles then it doesn't matter.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
