I recently bough a Derbi GPR 50 2000 model bike and when starting it, it has been clicking from the starter solenoid.
I removed starter and the front casting has shattered inside. So I am in need a new starter motor and wire for it since i only seem to have one wire attached to it and i'm having a trouble finding these parts.
Does anyone know where I can purchase these parts or other bikes that have the same starter motor.
On the starter motor it has the following details (note sticker is slightly worn so some details are are not fully there/accurate):
Starter - MG16150
Da1 - 12V 0.2Kw r.sx
Se N. 0047126

Let me know if a picture is needed.

Alex

starter motors on motorcycles normally only have 1 wire going into them, positive, the negative side just goes to ground, ie the starter motor casing.

Cheers Serlant. The ebay link is the part i already have working so i wont need that unfortunately and need either the pinion which they are selling for 50 quid or the whole part which is 200 quid plus vat Neutral
Cheers for the link. Hopefully I can find one for a bit cheaper than that otherwise I have a feeling i'm going to be rather poor.....

Heres a piccy of the starter btw incase it may help you/anyone else

Can post a better picture if necessary by the way.
I was wondering if i could just replace the inside spinner with something like this instead of getting the proper part...

I'd check the usual places to get parts from; Wemoto.com / Ebay - PM 'Sickpup'? on here who dabbles in bike spares.
