Hi all,

Have been seriously considering getting a Bandit 600 after xmas after selling mine.

Only problem is it would need to be restricted to 33BHP, and I can't find the kits anywhere.
Been looking on eBay for ages and nothing ever comes up, and i refuse to pay the rip off merchants at F.I for one.

Has anyone got one, know of anywhere i can get one from? Am prepared to pay for it obviously.

Thanks Razz

I was going to do one of those LMGTFY things cos i haven't done one for a good while but after 10 mins googling i came up with nothing! Thought they would be a piece of piss to find - is a pretty common bike after all.

For a Bandit

outer diameter=38mm
inner diameter =15.5 mm

Most good Metal workers would make one for you.

But if your get it made, Something about socking it in petrol for a night before you put them in.

In case the material they use dissolves in petrol, Then you could have all sorts of problems with bits off shit in the engine.

Fitting is not a problem, Should take DIY 2 hours.

Note*

Bit more searching found bandit holes are offset. (Probably due to fueling.) Will try to find a picture.

Thumbs Up

Don't really want to make a whole new topic for this so this seems a rather fitting place.

Would anyone know the size for the cbr600f 1990 hurricanes restriction piece. thanks in advance and sorry for taking over your topic Smile
