Best is not a quantative statement on it's own. We need to know the criteria by which 'best' is being judged.

What use is the bike to be put to - will you be occasionally greenlaning or getting proper into the mud?
What kind of maintenance can you put up with?
Whats your inside leg measurement? Your budget? etc etc

That kind of thing all makes a difference.

Then we can offer you an opinion on the right tool for the right job....

I've heard of plenty of people giving it a go with a 4 stroke 125. Is probably just as fun!

DT125 or KMX125 are your best choices for 'sensible' do it all bikes - I wouldn't spend over £1k.
