Perhaps this should have been 'random banter' but I think its relevant enough to bikes Smile

Saw something horrific last night, the best hidden unmarked car ever.
It had the flashers on and from the rear it looked like the brake lights were creating some kind of rave, I was a bit confused as to what it was. But from the front there were 2 lights in the grill, and one on each wing mirror.
Otherwise it looked like this (no suzuki decals ofc) and I dont believe there is any way I could tell that was a police car (apart from the police in it...was night time so not sure if the rear windows were tinted or not).

They have them around here. Plastered up with dealer stickers and then the tiniest police sticker on the back.

I'm extra careful around my way after seeing a dark grey Golf GTI with concealed lights blues n' twosing the other way last week.

I usually can tell cop cars by them being clean, no stickers in the windows, nothing on the parcel shelf, two people up front, and most of them have wierd bubble effect on the windows which I assume has something to do with the bulletproof glass lol.

I'm fairly certain that a year or so ago I saw an umarked RX-8 at the scene of an accident in Selly Oak. It had one of those "portable" lights stuck on the top.

However as it was on the other side of a dual carraigeway and partially obscured you might think I'm mistaken, but I knows what I seen, dammit!

May well have been a doctors car with a removable green light.

I did think that but I am so sure it was blue. Considering that there was already an ambulance there, what's the chance of there being an FD also in attendance? Who knows eh - the mind does play tricks like that sometimes!

Some emergency doctors have blue lights for their cars, saw one turn up in an M3 once. CID officers do not have blue lights in their own cars.

Really? I thought emergency doctors only used green lights, and other ambulances used blue.

The fact that I can find no other reference to this car makes me think I just imagined the whole thing...

There are sometimes a few clues, and some of it is just intuition that you feel when spotting a car usually following you or in front of you. Things to look for are:
No dealer slogans or text on the number plates,
More than one aerial fitted normally on the roof.
Normally under 3year old Vehicles.

There are a few other signs too, if anyone can remember them?
