was coming back from egham last night with a friend who was on his shiny new Cavgia Mito, but he deciced to be a stupid basted and ride at about 90mph (flat out) down a 30mph road had his visor up got a fly in his eye and did,nt see the large grass rounderbout till it was too late, front wheel shattered when he hit it the bike carried on over the rounderbout took out a road sign and ended up in a bush, no damage to him and the only damage to the bike is the wheel and a few small scratchs Shocked

Might want to get the frame/fork alignment checked as well. By the sound of the accident either could well have got slightly bent. In which case it's going to cost a lot more than just a new wheel to fix.

Jeez, i agree with Ian.

If he can only ride ridiculously and not responsibly, he doesn't deserve to have a bike.

Good thing he wasn't seriously hurt.

Riding at 90mph down a 30 limit road which you don't even know what there is in it is kind of asking for trouble. Glad to here he is okay though, and hopefully he has learnt he lesson.

And if the top speed has been made lower by him changing the gearing then he has down geared it no up geared it.
