Jonathon Ross seems to think that he can get more money elsewhere than the sum that the Beeb are willing to pay him. Personally I think that he is crude and vulgar and that he is massively overrated.
I say good riddance to him. What are your thoughts?

He's eminently untalented and got where he is solely by virtue of who his father was. But who amongst us wouldn't climb on board the same gravy-train, given the chance.

He has been mildly irritating since the 80's.
Another overpaid twot.

Would be hilarious if it was Hetzer, who also gave another quite poignant answer. We need someone who can tell it to us straight I say!

His interview technique is shit. He asks the most banal questions and then interupts the answers with more banal shit.

Fuck him off.

I dont think Wossy chose to leave, I think he was pushed.

Good riddance to bad rubbish I say.

He was on a TV panel show recently with Russell Brand and they were being rude to the other guests, and making light of the manwell-gate thing, totally unrepentant.

If you are edgy not mainstream, like Brand, you can get away with it. You cant do that if you are mainstream like wossy. You arent cheeky chappy, you are just nasty bully. Wossy trying to be Brand, but overstepping the mark, more rude than cheeky.

I have to admit they were funny, but I didnt like them.

I think there is a bit of a backlash against presenters being obnoxious.

I think shaggy is right, I'd make a great TV presenter.

And funnily enough, I was having a pint the other day with a guy who develops TV shows and is responsible for all that Gok shite ( how to look good naked etc). I was at school with TV guy. I used to like channel 4 and someone I was at school with has turned it into shit. Typical.

And in similar way to how shaggy has demonstrated, I asked him if he was proud of the stuff he makes. Not quite as rude as Wossy, but he was a bit taken aback.

I cant see him giving me a job though.

He is a decent film reviewer, i like that programme.
Ive watched interviews of his before, laughed at some, cringed at others.
I liked the way he ripped into Tarantino for some of his recent slapdash work, he was squirming. lol
Good interview with Mickey Rourke too. I usually dont enjoy his interviews with women, he is a bit crude....but hey i just switch over then.

I think Ross is ok, he's entertaining in a mindless way. The whole thing involving him and Brand was merely a large media propelled group of knee jerk chinless cretins who never even heard the radio show in question because they didn't listen to it anyway. (Obviously on hearing about this offensive outrage, they immediately went out of their way to listen to it on youtube... Seriously, it's like deliberately stubbing your own toe...)

These morons also kept saying there was tens of thousands of complaints on the BBC Have Your Say web pages (which in turn are frequented by Daily Mail inhaling wasp-chewing bigots.) Unfortunately they failed to differentiate the negative comments from the indifferent or positive posts of which (if anyone with something approaching a modicum of inbiased intelligence would see,) there was a great many.

He'll go to Sky and get a similar £££ contract from them.

Thumbs Up
