All those of you that keep complaining that the police are useless, good-for-nothing, tossers should eat your words. They are extremely efficient and very eager to act when it comes to protecting certain sections of ''our communities''.

This has got to be a load of bollocks.

I mean what would they charge him with?

Even if he did call them a pikey directly, in what way would this be illegal, let alone arrestable.

I use the term pikey a lot, I use it as a word for people who nick stuff with no connotations to gypsies.

Its even good as a verb: "Hey mate can I pikey a couple of biscuits?"

This is a bit hard to believe, if it's all true then we're all stuffed, might be more to it though, and who calculated the police investigation cost at £12,000, there's no evidence of that given.

Still, if I was arrested and for something I didn't do and had my DNA taken and kept indefinately i'd take it to court until it got removed, surely you can argue it on Human Rights, that covers everything.

After I was arrested a few years ago on suspicion of assualt and burglary,(I'm in the security business and criminal records don't go down well, I had never been arrested or a suspect in the commission of a crime in my life, plus I was 5 miles away at the time of the incident at work, on cctv, the accusation nearly cost me my job) I was told the same about the DNA and fingerprints and held in a cell for 8 hrs, In the end the police realised their mistake but I wasn't given an apology of any sort and my work were not impressed having the police going on a clients site asking for cctv tapes. as for the incident above no matter what the cost british policing at its best.
