HI all,

had these given to me a while ago...I think he said they were off a ducati and where the brackets for the steering damper?

one to clamp round the ford leg and the other on to the actul damer itself.

Need to know because they are being sold.

cheers

One will go on the fork and one will go on the frame, the damper will go in the middle.

Looks like the smaller one clamps around the damper and there must be a hole though the lug pointing away from us in the pic that anchors it to a point on the frame or engine.

The small one is specifically an Ohlins steering damper bracket.

I have the exact same brackets on my frame and left fork for my pro-sprint damper.

First, you need to find out which Ducati they're compatible with, and whether they're compatible with anything else.

Then, it's only worth anything to someone who has a compatible bike and a damper without the required fittings. If someone bought a new damper, odds are they'd buy the fittings with it. If they bought a SH damper, odds are they will have shopped for one that comes with the right fittings (just look on ebay and they're pretty much all complete with fittings).

It also looks like an incomplete kit - there's usually a bolt or pivot arrangement to attach the damper mount (left hand piece) to the frame so that it can swivel slightly as the fork pushes/pulls the other end of the damper.

In short, it's probably not worth very much, but find out what it's compatible with (bike wise - fork diameter etc.) and stick it on ebay with no reserve.
