This is for anyone who rides into Bolton town centre (poor sods)... I have to go into Bolton everyday now for my new job, and I'm struggling to find decent spots for parking my scooter.
The Pay and Display places are out because I have no way of displaying my ticket without it likely getting nicked (although if anyone has a method for displaying tickets securely on bikes, please, let met know!), and the NCP guys could only tell me about Ashburner st car park, next to the market stalls, which has dedicated bike parking bays. These are often filled by cars as its a busy place (and lately the markings have been snowed over).
I've hunted around for a listing of bike parking in Bolton, and found nada, so thought I'd see if anyone on here had any ideas?

For instance, Manchester City Council have provided great info on bike parking, including a Google map of all the spaces:
https://www.manchester.gov.uk/info/200072/parking/332/motorcycles/1
Well useful.

Obviously, this is only relevant if you know Bolton (it's in Lancashire btw Smile)...

Thanks, Nick

I think I've seen some people parked there, but I couldn't work out how they'd gotten there - then again I still get confused when riding around town centre, so might just be me missing something obvious.
I think I'll take a closer look next time I'm near the town hall, might be able to figure it out.

Cheers,
Nick

Bet way is if you come along Bradshawgate (main strip through Bolton with all the bars) you come to a set of lights near the old Cinema and near Buffet King turn left if you have come from Manchester road end (Right if you have come from folds road end) you'll be on great moor street. Follow this round towards the Market, you will get to another set of lights, turn right here. This is Ashburner street, follow it round and you'll be on Le Mans crescent.

You can access the bike parking along here. Thumbs Up
