What forks are you trying to put into what bike?

Im assuming your using the yokes and stem that match the forks.

Cheers

Im in the middle of a bearing conundrum very similar myself, Ive discovered that for a 48mm OD the standard ID is 25mm, and anything other than that is rare and expensive.

Try www.simplybearings.co.uk

If you're fitting the yokes from a different model onto your bike, one way to make it all go together easily is to swap the stem. You should be able to get it pressed out of one set of yokes and pressed into another.

I knew a guy that was doing this to a Triumph Daytona front end onto a Suzuki VX800, to take advantage of a 17" front wheel and twin discs.
