I was looking to get a pair of these

https://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-09-HONDA-CBR600RR-CBR-600RR-CCFL-ANGEL-HALO-EYES_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem255827a490QQitemZ160392782992QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_3684wt_790

Firstly are they road legal? secondly can both be set on low beam and both go on highbeam also? and finally what do you guys think of the aesthetics?

They do look pretty sweet.

I can't imagine there being a high chance of being pulled over, over them.

But don't quote me on that, I'm not totally sure. Thumbs Up

I'm pretty sure they'll be OK as long as you get the WHITE ones as all other colours aren't allowed, it's the same as the ones you see on BMW's.

You do realise the picture shows a CBR125 Laughing

He's talking of the main picture at the top, next to the buy it now bit. Not the ones with the Ninja...

And yes road legal (as long as they're white). Don't see much point. When are you gonna see them apart from showing them off?

Im not too sure now because I found out I still need a "projector" bulb as they are only the outlines. Will they not work around my standard bulbs? However I'm not sure if my Honda workshop will re-wire the lighting so low beam=angel eyes and full beam=normal bulbs. Any ideas?

You don't want your low beam as angel eyes, you will see fuck all when riding at night.

Angel eyes = side lights
Low beam = Low beam
High beam = High beam

Thanks for that chris. Do you think a Honda garage will be able to sort that out for me?

They should be able to I would do it myself personally, if you don;t have the projector bulbs though I'm not sure on the legality of it as you will be altering the beam pattern because these stick on the reflector, I'm not sure where the side lights are on you bike potentially it could be really easy to do, my Speed Four has 2 headlights up front, in each is 1 dual filiment bulb for high/low beam and a side light. If i was doing it to the s4 I would just cut the side light out and replace it with the angel eyes. On my TDM however I have 3 lights 1 is a single filiment low beam another a single filiment high and the last is a little side light, this would make it more difficult, play about with you lights and see what lights up when the switch is set in different postitions.

On my TDM I have 2 switches 1 on/side/off the other is high/low beam, the S4 only has high/low.
