My cat was sitting on my pillow which I had put on the floor. It proceeded to urinate on it.

It says on the label "New Duck feathers"
I mean when it comes to pillows, this is pretty top of the line.

Can I wash it. Googling comes up with different answers.

Do I do it by hand or chuck it in the washing machine?

If it's a choice between washing vs chucking it out then you're best off trying the washing even if it'll knacker it...

I'd stick it in the washing machine- the outer casing is bound to be tough enough to stand it and put some of that vanish oxy bleach in with it and wash on 90 degrees to kill off all the bacteria otherwise it'll start to smell of piss again in a week.

Bin it.

Having one pissy cat in my house you cant save most the stuff, sometimes you can with a quick wash but its your pillow , she has scented it and I wouldnt want to even put my head on a pillow after it was washed if my pissy cat got at it.

This morning mine pissed on my duster Rolling Eyes cat has serious issues. I have lost many a nice thing from her even my mattress had to be replaced as she used to get into the bedroom. Evil or Very Mad I have spent a forune on bed cloths and had to bin my duck down duvet over her.

Bin it, duck/goose feather pillows stink at the best of times, add to that the smell of cat piss which is nigh on impossible to get rid of completely you're going to be walking round smelling like a tramps crotch...

So, unless that's your thing, bin it... Thumbs Up
