HID should be scrapped...or ...everyone should have it so we can all be dazzled.

The Hate towards HIDS i can understand, most cars go for the bright 55w HID.

I have the low 35W single low beam HID, High Beam just normal halogen bulb.

So far i have dazzled anyone.

But i do know most car drivers have bright HIDs that blind you when riding towards them.

The kit Cost £40 from the online HIDs store, very good, not that much Brighter then standed 55w bulb halogen, its more clear white light you get .

virus - No i gave up biking, from June 2009, just got my self another due to my bike test been on 9th February 2010, got a bike again to learn all the maneuvers and the serve, then selling bike if pass for summer else.

Dunno what iam getting yet, i quite fancy a Aprila Mana Smile

That entirely depends on which motorbike you compare a scooter to. If you're talking about a naked or trails bike, then of course a scooter offers more protection with a big slab of plastic in front of your legs.

Compared to a fully faired sports tourer, like this BMW, though, and you'll probably get just as much protection from the weather (if not more), and it'll be considerably more fun.

Taking it to an extreme, a Goldwing will offer better weather protection than any scooter.

True .

Alot of motorbikes i seen are big bikes that have the good weather protection as you say like the goldwing or a BMW tourers.

I was looking for summit in the 500cc range.

Tell that to the forum Admin and moderators... (me awaits)

Seriously, I thought the lower members of this forum had treated you so badly that you never wanted to return? Or are you some kind of masochist?

Not trying to get rid of you or anything, but I can see the incoming storm on the horizon...

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Why is it so hard for people to read what it says next to where you change your avatar? "Your avatar must conform to the following rules: No animations, no wider than 80 pixels, no taller than 100 pixels" It's pretty straight forward isn't it? Confused

You've returned to BCF which is to be expected but you'll always be in the bcf flouncing hall of fame/shame.

Very Happy

Be nice to the furry scooter rider, he has feelings too.

Mr X9, I recommend a scooter blanket, they are designed for the scooter, and attach, and keep your legs toasty and warm and dry, without having to wear loads of layers of trousers.

I had one with a yp250.

What I want to know is how you managed to upload that in the first place... URL? The 'Upload avatar from your machine' is a bitch to use and for some reason the function that I always go for.

Good point, it will combine his love of fur fabric with his love of scooters, as the inside of the waterproof scooter blanket, is a lot like fur fabric actually.

I've certainly got some bar mitts that have fur fabric on the inside. It works well to keep them more toasty.
