Acceleration Help PLEASEEEE

Alright guys
I need some advice and some wisdom from you lot !
Before I start, I ride a ped not a bike by the way (moped/scooter)

Alright, so Ive had my ped like a month now and ive had some problems with it, the acceleration on it is absolutely pathetic at the moment, im not sure whats wrong with it but my dad thinks the belt widens out too fast for the ped OR theres too much power for the clutch/belt to snap in and go. Its top speed is about 47-48 on flat land at the moment and thats with the restrictor taken out of the exhaust, and the variator derestricted, so ive still got to derestrict the carb. So yer, this is really embarresing so I dont go out on it in the day lmao till I get it fixed so if you know or can help me out that'd be great, under this ill post what Ive done and are going to do.

Things ive done to the ped since it was standard (in cronological order):
-Replaced the exhaust with a Technigas race exhaust - Because my old one was propper rusty and they were only like 40 more than a new standard exhaust.
-Took the restrictor out of it
-Derestricted the variator
-Bourght a new spark plug

What im going to do (not in any particular order) :
-Derestrict the carb
-Buy a new jet
-Change the roller weights (rollers)

Id like to know about roller weights also, my dad told me the lighter they are the wider the belt wil be therefore giving it faster acceleration but it wont effect my speed.
Ive heard that the lighter they are, more acceleration / less top speed and heavier they are, less acceleration / higher top speed.
Which is correct ? I have standard in now but dads pretty sure they need replacing but I dont want to lose too much speed if my speed WILL decrease. So yer thanks if you can help.

ALSO IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I COULD BUY THAT IVE MISSED/NOT KNOW ABOUT THAT ISNT A BORE KIT OR TOO EXPENSIVE ?

you need a main jet and rollers to suit the sport exhaust, tollers should be 2 grams lighter than standard to give you your take off speed and if its a 50cc around a 60 jet.

Changing the rollers just changes where your bike likes to rev as a cvt transmission is designed to keep the revs consistently within the peak efficiency of the engine. A sports exhaust on a two stroke generally requires more revs, and with the technigas requiring roughly 7800 rpm, you need to shed off roughly 30 percent of the current weight set
