hi all, am looking at buying a ex police k75 & wonder if anyone has one so i can pick your brains about the seat height & width.

i am 5"1 so height is a definite issue.

I've got a K100, and the sizing is not dissimilar.

Its a good height for me, and i'm 6'1 (Though skinny as fook), however, you can buy a "low seat" for both bikes, and that does drop it by a lot. Its also not badly weighted, but the K100 especially is VERY heavy to get onto the main stand. (240kgs)

If it is an Ex-pol bike, it might still have the police single seat conversion. If so, i have been led to believe that it is also marginally lower than the standard one.

[Edit] Figures for K75 are same as K100:

Seat Height (Unladen)

810 mm (31.90 inches) or 760 mm (29.90 inches) for low seat model

Might be worth giving Danny a PM, as he’s got an ex-police K75. I’ve ridden it and don’t recall it feeling particularly short or anything. Think the seat was moderately wide and the bike it’s self is fairly heavy.
