On my bike i notice that on the brackets for the water hoses and around the sprag clutch inspection cover theres a silicone type sealant (except its black) all around the joins.
Does anyone know what its called, or if its some special type of automotive sealant as i need to buy some more

I didnt literally buy the same one - I just didnt think it would be called simply 'black silicone', i though it may have some industry name that im not familiar with, hence the question.
So i found one called Hylosil which is made for that use, but labelled as simply 'silicone sealant'. I'd only previously encountered them for use in bathrooms and things so i thought one for use on cars/bikes would totally different.
