hello. i have had my gsx for about a year now, great bike,reliable, power right through the gears, easy to handle and looks good. but living in the highlands the weather is sometimes not very forgiving. i would like to trade it in for a tourer or sports tourer with a bit of weather protection, but i dont want some big lumbersome machine. something with similer qualities but more weather protection and maybe comfier also. and i cant afford a BMW gs1100 although id like one. germans ay, there always out doing the rest Smile im looking to spend around 2k trade in included. any suggestions would be apprecdiated cheers.

VFR 800s are now in that sort of price range I think for the older ones?
A C/E model zx9 with a double bubble does pretty good weather protection is in that sort of price range, has less weight I expect and more/more flexible power.

BMWs tend to be very heavy, especially the R series.

Heavy?! It took 3 people my size to put on centre stand.. lol literally couldnt move the damn thing!

yeh i like the look of the VFR yellow is smart too. might be a bit out of my price range though, i'll definately keep this one on the list though. test ride pending Wink
