...you've ridden at a licence losing speed through a police check with cameras and apparently 200 officers only to find they weren't after you!
The first thing I saw was the HATO vehicle on the overhead junction and then the white van with tinted rear windows alongside it.
I'd wound it up a bit to go around two middle lane muppets who were doing 75.6 mph two foot apart when I looked up and saw the camera, d'oh!
Then I saw the patrol car on the northbound slip, d'oh! then the four motorcycle cops on the southbound slip, d'oh! then the second patrol car heading northbound with it's lights on, d'oh!
I carried on having already eased off, only to find even more police at Michael Wood services and more traffic units lingering on the slip roads of junction 14.
I really expected a tug, but nothing happened; Operation Utah using ANPR took place yesterday between junctions 13 and 14 of the M5.
I came home via the A38 ____________________ My claim to fame: Austin Vince nicked my pen...

Perhaps they ignored me as in spite of having "had" several wives, I'd had no stimulants that morning... ____________________ My claim to fame: Austin Vince nicked my pen... |

Operation Utah is actually a secret operation by the MI5 paeleontology sector. During the Permean era the Utahraptor (pictured) was shown to migrate to a certain underground habitat near Exeter, narrowly avoiding extinction. The population were thought to have died out, but due to recent disappearance of livestock, patterns suggest a return of the long evolutionary relative of said lizard.
Early 2009 an ornothologist claims that whilst observing a buzzard swoop in for some prey, a "large lizard-like" creature jumped several feet into the air and snatched the bird of prey with minimal effort. Correlate this with the area's police unable to explain the disappearance of three cave explorers in the months previous, it would suggest a link to the presumed-extinct raptor.
Disappearances in the area can be traced back several hundred years, making this a likely candidate for if you are still reading at this point, seriously what the hell? I'm obviously just typing shit out of my arse and I didn't even bother to confirm whether or not the M5 is anywhere near Exeter. Take your dinosaurs live t-shirt off now and go home.

From then on, I and the bicycle feelings deeper. |
