When you live in a smack bang city centre flat and your bike is parked 200metres up the road where there are 1000s of passers by, you use it every day to commute in all weathers..How do you keep it clean and weather protected?

Wouldn't bother cleaning it as such - clean bike = a desirable bike. (unless it's something like St3v3's bike and then it's never desirable Laughing

, the bastard ugly bike that it is). Anyway...use fs365 religiously or ACF-50 it and just throw a cover over it at night.

Job done.

Its coated in ACF50 at the moment.

Occasionally i like to give it a thorough clean, but how can i do this when i have no access to privacy or water

Well today i rode it to a remote car park and spent a good 2.5 hours on it.

I have great difficulty getting the wheels clean. I used a rag soaked in WD40 then ran out so used paraffin. The problem is though that you go through so many rags as they just end up a black greasy mess that spreads the dirt around rather than cleans it.

Anyway it got a decent clean and sprayed with ACF50. It will do for now until i find a girlfriend with a garage Wink
