Tyre puncture

I noticed a small leak in my front tyre, I've found the hole.

What do I fix it with?
I was thinking to use a 'tubless tyre repair kit'.
I've found 3 kits on ebay but I am not sure which one to choose.

1st kit (cheapset one £7-£7.5) looks good, Hovewer the insertion tool looks short. I am sure that would be ok to use on a motorbike, but what about cars? How much of that tool do you have to insert in the tyre?

shops plug tubeless tyres for about £10

if its tube, a new one costs..peanuts

I take mine to a paki car MOT garage that does it in 2 minutes for a fiver Confused

may be worth trying this if you can't be arsed to do it yourself

Its tubeless tyre.

Will call my local shop to ask if they plug motorbike tyres.

Any advice on these kits?

Where on the tyre is the hole? How much life is there left in the tyre? What bike is it?

The patch came off after 15 minutes ride Smile

Some glue filled the hole so the air leaks even slower. I think I would have to pump it every 2nd day.

I've been to my local tyre centre, they said they do not do motorbike tyres and noone in the area does.
I went to my local bike shop, they said that there is a place...20 milles away. They could to it when Joe gets back and that would cost £25 Surprised

I am going to reserch and call that place he has mentioned. £25 is too much, If that place charges more than £15 I'd I rather spend that on tools and repair it myself.

The hole is tiny. having used them before on car tyres,use a mushroom type plug,you will need a drill bit to make the hole the right size for the stem of the mushroom plug (dont make it too big) and some vulcanising solution (patch adhesive).they are pretty easy to do.You drill out the tyre to the specific size,buff the inner surface of the tyre (where the mushroom will make contact) clean this off with a de-greaser,apply the adhesive to the stem and contact area of the plug and pull the mushroom through from the inside out pulling it into close contact with the inner face of the tyre.........this is a 100% premanent fix.......... Smile
