Anybody know much about these bikes? im looking at a 2004 model.

I know nothing about these bikes, so a complete run down would be great.

Are they expensive to run?
Do they break alot?
Are parts expensive and easy to get?

Cheers guys

I've got a 2003 model.
I think its a good bike. Pretty much unbreakable. Parts are readily available and reasonable. Its quick and user friendly. Its quite happy plodding along or going flat out.
Recommended!
If you decide to get one let us know and i'll post the details of gasgas uk and another dealer who are really good for parts.
Thumbs Up

There are some 'issues' with build quality, it's no Honda but I think they're good value for money.

I know a chap with an 06 and the only problem he has is the rear wheel bearings have a short life, around 1500 mile max he gets out of his and also the front sproket wheres out pretty quick, other wise hes full of praise about it, bombproof engine etc etc

And is now also in bits out the front of my house.

Head light, switch gear, front indicators, blue front mudguard, blue side panels are now also fitted.

Have found 1 of the end pipe hangers is snapped off though, so will need it welding back on before I can rebuild the rear end.

Im well chuffed with it.

I had a little count last night and the CRM has made about £1100, could've squeezed another £100 out of it but I let the the boke who bought the frame have the rest of the stuff for £30.

Its well worth doing but it just takes ages to shift the bits.

This is what you should hope to get ~

frame-£100-£150
bottom end- £100-£150
barrel-£50
CDI-£50
head light-£30
wheels-£50-£100
lock set-£30
speedo-£30-£50
speedo drive-£35

as you can see it soon adds up, just takes a while to get the cash in Thumbs Up
