I've got the filter out because I had to fix a sticky choke. Makes sense to give it a clean but I don't have any of the "official" air filter oil.
From reading the safety data sheet, the "proper" stuff seems to be a mix of thiners, hydraulic oil and refined animal fat.
I've got a lot of other oily stuff here. I was thinking 3-in-1 oil or ATF.
Suggestions? ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

I used to use various random oils (atf etc), however the air filter oil for the KTM I've been quite impressed by, so will be sticking to that for them at least - it was really annoyingly gloopy and kept sticking my gloves together and anything that got put down on a pool of it on the bench.
Definitely a lot 'stickier' than standard oils, which can't be a bad thing in such cases . |

Use some intestinal lubricant stinkwheel. Its a nice light oil and has good dust catching properties.
Unlike robbys 2stroke it won't smell as good or Gs KTM oil ?s

I'm with Robby and oiled mine with some 2 stroke oil.
My bike doesn't smell any nicer though if any gets burnt up in the engine because it always smells superb |
