Thankfully Im ok apart from a broken hand, the bike on the otherhand is a bit censored .Sad
Hit some ice round a blind corner, front wheel just went and before i knew it my bike was in the middle of the road pissing out oil , was doing about 50mph at the time.
So lucky there wasnt another car coming the other way, i slid down the road for about 20yards & the bike must of gone another 20 .

Heres some damage pics Sad

sucks to hear mate, collisions hurt more..so lucky there wasnt another car coming, could have been alot different!

Atleast the damage to you is minimal, the bike parts are replaceable, you are not!

Glad to hear you're doing ok. Makes you wonder why some bikes are designed with that lack of protection around the engine area though. That's one very impressive hole in your bike! I guess it's because the designers are optimistic people Laughing

ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston?

Glad you are (relatively) OK!

I am a great fan of crash bars on the right bike. My missus has them on her bandit and they have saved the cases more than once.
