well chuffed, always worried that the hazard perception would be hard, having never done it, but it was piss easy! that said i only got 57 out of 75 for it, but speaking to one of the instructors at bike rite in rutherglen he said the test was aimed at novices, and not people who have been driving for ages, i guaruntee i saw every hazard straight away, but was told i prob clicked before they awarded points, only the dsa could come up with a test that novices do better then experts

anyway minor rant over, direct access time woohoo!!!

I've sat through 3 theory tests (2 with hazard perception), I've completed courses on advanced and safe driving, I spend upwards of 45hours a week on the roads and I still struggle to get past the 60mark on hazard perception. It is a load of rubbish as everyone perceives hazards differently... I shant get my soapbox out as we'll be here all night.

A pass is a pass, it's all you need. Well done! Get the next bit done ASAP!

Congratulations.

I was worried about Hazard perception, but I failed on the questions by 1 mark! I was revising with a 2009 car theory book to be fair...

Passed last year, got my Module 1 on 1st of March.

Get yours booked ASAP. Thumbs Up

as you say a pass is a pass so i'll not moan about it

want to get it all done asap but was told it would cost £699 to do the direct access, this sounds insanely high considerin if done my cbt, got experience on my 125 and have done the theory, does that sound expensive to you??

think i'll be gettin prices from other places in glasgow!

That sounds pretty high... But then I did my test 18months ago just before it went to the two parter. Think my DAS was £420. The school I did mine with are charging £580now including use of their bike+gear and all the test fees

Clicky

Cheers

Drew

EDIT:
forgot to mention that I'm in York, so I'm not recomending you use Ride4Life... I posted the link for reference purposes only!

It depends on your experience and ability. I had been riding my 125 for a couple of months before doing my DAS and when i booked it i said to my instructor that i didnt really want to do a full course unless he thought it really necessary. We agreed that i would allow for the 4 days but depending on how i got on could hopefully do it in less. Ended up just doing two full days training and an hour or so before the test for £325. I was probably also helped a bit too by the fact that i did mine in winter and got one on one training sessions.
