When a flasher relay says that it is "electronic" does this mean that it is IC controlled and therefore the flash rate is not load dependant?

As I'm having a crazy/variable flash rate on the rxs, I'm thinking that the old bimetallic strip may not be up to scratch working with the crazy fluctuations of the rxs electrical system.

I'm thinking that a IC controlled flasher, being independent of load, may fare better.

Thoughts?

well it says its 21w x 2 but looking at the diagram it requires an earth so i would almost assume its not load dependant
but you can go on guileras site and ask them for specifications
