What do you all do for a living?

I look after Exchange Messaging servers globally. Utterly boring stuff, but it pays the bills.... Cool

apprentice electrical engineer, 2 years left and pays for my bikes and l earn 4 times more money than most people my age (17) and l travel europe and north africa installing production lines for areosols etc

But hopefully not for much longer as I hope to be joining Greater Manchester Police, well thats if they ever give me a date for my final interview. Confused

Finished college and waiting for graduation, otherwise working in a supermarket whilst i look for a net related job (server side coder, web designer, flashcoder/animator etc).

im doing a JT limited modern apprenticship and working for a electrical firm in croydon...
i already work with my dad for 6 years so i know basic stuff..

Well I aint that fit and I passed the physical quite easily, I think the hardest thing for me will be the final interview. Smile

Plus I don't think the salary is too bad, after all £19,000 starting wage isn't bad at all for someone my age. Very Happy

Plus my aim is to get into the Motorcycle Traffic Division. Smile

good for you, Very Happy apprentice jobs are very rare, a lot of people think they can become quailficed by just going to collage and you can,t you need the 3/4 year work tranning to get JIB card etc

everybody was sayin it was really hard to get a job, and i was gettin really worried, but i flew through the entrance test to JTL and got a job on my first application!! im really happy even though i get crap pay (£40) but i get to work all over the country and work nights and stuff...

it willb e gud, and hopefully i can save up to buy a vfr400 soon...i see the one my mate just bought (nc24) and its soo nice..i want one meself to work on!!

Apprentice jobs are not rare they are easy to find.

They are much harder to get im in my second year now.

not electrical, you need to know a electrican to get a apprentice job,the big companys don,t take on apprentices any more as nowen days there is no profit in training one, l only got mine because my dad is head of the department,

also l won electrical apprentice of the year for south london Very Happy
