I'll give it a 6/10.

It is well stocked and has the requirement of bikes in there but you lost points cos you ain't got no room to work in there.

I don't see a radio or heater so you drop a points on that.

I like the stool, very useful for sitting down and reflecting after you've fucked something up.

I'm also liking the knackered looking shelving and the filing cabinet, no expensive snap-on tool storage for you Smile

When I get round to fitting my new kitchen I'm going to use the old units/worktops to kit out my garage.

I'm thinking 7.5 out of 10, I'd award another point if you can show evidence of a sound system and heater.

Radio is in the racking on the left, AM/FM 5CD changer, and aux out for an MP3 player goes really loud you can see it in the 3rd and 4th pictures.

I have never needed a heater, I'm not a girl. Plus a mate of my dads managed to set his garage and all his bikes alight with a heater and lost everything.

Normally the TDM is left outside but I'm charging the battery there is enough room to work at the bench as is just not arround the bikes with the TDM in there.

Bonus points go to those that noticed the Abba kit, the bike lift and the compresser Wink

Is that a garage? I thought it was a corridor Laughing 5/10 as lack of working space and no tv. No true workshop/garage is complete without a tv. Razz

It's not that thin really, it's the width of a normal garage and double the length. Normally the TDM is outside, if I was doing some work on a bike I would wheel the FOur and the sprint out to make space.

Do I spy a CX500 on the bike lift?

Looks quite similar to mine in that there isn't much room and my dad's bike hogs the bike lift. At least you have a workbench though, I have to make do with the top of the freezer.

Most of those garages are cleaner than my bedroom, they are are to surgical, a garage yu have a certain air of disorder about it IMO.

Having no safe direction to throw things angrily when you break something on the bike, or hurt yourself.. Thinking

That would be minus 5 points.

Also having so much crap that retrieving said object for use (when you have calmed down a bit) turns into a job itself.

Another minus 5.

I'd give it a 6... which is about 6 more than my garage.

My garage (crap photo, but its the only one I have):
https://i701.photobucket.com/albums/ww11/drewie3000/Photo0144-1.jpg
There's a very old, tatty oil stained (and unbelieveably comfy) sofa at the back. Storage consists of several upturned storage tubs creating a makeshift worktop and there's a parcel shelf off a ford fiesta 1.9d to use as a mat to save my knees when kneeling on the ground. The garage is complete with a clockwork radio/torch, large floor area for leaving tools on, a huge chunk of tree stump for use as an anvil, the neighbours cat which sleeps on the sofa, a dead swallow (possibly the result of the cat moving in) and a severe draft on windy days which whips the dust up into your eyes.

We're moving shortly to a house which has a brick garage attached to the house! Dance!
