Until about 3 weeks ago i had never given any time to listening to Johnny Cash (apart from Hurt)
Then a link on here got me into another song of his, which in turn led to another and before i knew it i was a huge fan.

How could a self confessed music fan like me live for 30 years before discovering the man in black.... Rolling Eyes

Anyway, if you're a fan feel free to indulge in this thread. Thumbs Up

Cash is ace. Don't know if you're aware but there's a movie about him called Walk The Line.

i was never one of his biggest fans.... but i always liked him.

"Hurt" was just made for him... and he did it brilliantly Smile .

have a second listen to Roy Orbison..... another talent who does`nt get the recognition he deserved!!!!!

A mans man.

See if you can find a documentay called 'Live at San Quentin', it came free with Album, but not sure if it was limited edition or what...

...here it is, I must be in a good mood. Well worth the money.

A mate was playing "The ballad of John Henry " in his car one day and I quite liked it. I got him to copy me a few songs and just listened to them. I was aware of Ring of fire, Boy named Sue and Hurt.

I then watched Walk the line.

I've now got about 200 Johnny Cash songs . I like the Highwaymen too.

He's been the top 25 most played on my Ipod for about 12 months.

I watched one of his last gigs on Youtube, So sad when he talks about losing his wife June.

A couple of my favourites.
