Whilst making a stack of pancakes for me and my wife, I managed to burn near enough the whole side of my index finger on my left hand. Man it hurt... and damn near ruined one of my favourite days of the year.

Anyway, back to the important stuff... Toppings!

6 pancakes
2 x jif lemon juice + sugar
2 x Nutella
1 x Cherry jam
1 x Golden syrup

What are you lot having on your pancakes???

Well I was planning on having cornedbeef in some and then tuna in the others.

But the pancake mix was shite and the pan used to be none stick now it's stickier than a clap riddled fadge fadge.

So all I ended up with was a plate pilled high with fucked pancakes and me still hungry. So its pancake day and I've had none.

Crying or Very sad

What is actually in the pancake mixes Eh?

All its takes is one egg, cup of flower and 300ml of milk.

Me and the Mrs have had pancakes at least half a dozen times this year already Laughing

I've often wondered the same thing... why would you need to buy premade mixes when the recipe from scratch is so simple.

Also, just becuase we eat pancakes throughout the year, doesn't mean we can't gorge ourselves on them in the name of pancake day!

I think it's flour and powdered egg and milk, you add water to it if I remember right and shake fuck out of it then pour as normal...

We only use the pre mixed because we don't ever have flour in the house and we don't eat eggs so it's a better option for us.

Fixed.
And agreed. Pancakes are for life, not just Shrove Tuesday. Exclamation

Edit: my pancakes consist of non-wheat flour, water and soya milk. Get the consistency correct, the oil temperature right, and perfect pancakes each time. Wink
