Vermulen & Sykes for Kawasaki? as a manufacturer I swear it's like they're allergic to winning Sad

Good to hear that Neukirchner has made it back to the grid for this year though Smile

I dont think thats the case, kawasaki have the bike and money to pour into WSBK this season, there past results just dont attract the top names because there problems are quite obvious and until they show progress like BMW did in one season I dont think they will get a big name sat on the bike until that happens.

besides chris and tom are both very underrated riders.

They said in an interview that there looking at top 10 for Vermulen in the dry and top 6 in the wet, which still doesn't strike me as being majorly ambitious.

Apparently they have a new ZX10R out for the 2011 season, so I guess they may be holding off development on this one

BMW pulled out of F1 and seem to have put everything into WSB, Kawasaki pulled out of MotoGP and don't really seem to be making much progress in WSB either.

I'm actually getting a little excited about the new season starting..

I've always supported Haga and will continue to do so but I hope that Camier can make the jump to WSB successfully Smile

This - how can anyone think that Tom Sykes isnt good enough to bring home a win? Laughing

I havent really heard how his development riding is unfortunately, but have watched him many times. Absolutely awesome rider.

hmm well.. apart from not getting on the podium last year on the championship winning bike?; he scored less than half the points score of his team mate over the 2009 season (462 - 176), and as a factory rider he was outscored over the 2009 season by two 2nd string customer bikes (byrne 192 for sterilgarda ducati & haslam 241 for stigi honda)

not saying he isn't an awesome rider, just that there's a few I would pick before him.. but I think Deano has a point too, I wonder if Kawasaki could've tempted Haslam, Camier, Guintoli or Crutchlow in?

I think what people dont understand is that Tom is is a true superbike rooke, only 2 years on top flight superbike one in BSB and one in WSB, took on the likes of bayliss on a bike/track that he knew well. also had a year on a questionable performing stobart honda.

Crutchlow is on the same boat and I have a feeling he may of been a little over hyped too this season as im not too sure if he will be at the cut and thrust of the front like a true wsbk like johnny rea. May take him the year to gel with the bike.

not saying he wont be at the front as yamaha will really invest if they think they can win the season. TBH byrne, haslam have been on superbikes more that I can remember. byrne has made some bad careers moves as he should be in the factory ducati squad at least by now, hope it works out for him this year.

Nope. You want to see it you have to pay. I've just got a months subscription to the eurosport player so that i can watch on my pc, but as my broadband is so dire i'm pretty disappointed and wont bother trying it again. its not an on demand service so you can only watch it when its actually on which isn't always conveniant.
Anyone know where you can download the races so that i can watch at leisure

I found the Eurosport player thing alright, I was able to watch in what they class as 'very high' quality without it rebuffering or freezing up. My internet connection is pretty slow normally as well so I was quite pleased.

The only place that reliably hosts race torrents that I know of is www.racing-underground.com but unless your already a member you can't join unless you get an invitation code which they no longer seems to be giving out Sad

I annoyingly used to be a member but then forgot to register when they relaunched the site.
