Bought a 7 pack of hoola hoops ... thought they were just the ready salted ones ... sadly on splitting the pack, to my horror some Salt and Vinegar crisps came tumbling out ... it became obvious I had inadvertently purchased a 'variety pack' ... and I now had some S&V crisps to deal with Crying or Very sad

In my book, you have to be some sort of sadistic pervert to actually LIKE S&V crisps! Shocked

So is it just me??? do you lot actually like S&V crisps!?!?

I'm a sadistic perve and I don't like salt and vinegar. Don't like ready salted either though.

I don't mind s & v flavour crisps whatever you chose to deduce from that.

I am however not overly keen on Hoola Hoops.
Way to crunchy, find they end up hurting my teath after a while.

I am not sure anyone 'likes' ready salted, they are just the default, non offensive crisps ... as such they are statistically the most popular flavour ...

Anyone that makes an effort to buy packets that exclusively contain ready salted crisps has serious issues. Ready salted crisps are the Adrian Chiles of the potato snack world - they are so bland and dull that you'd have to have some kind of mental imbalance to find them in any way appealing. Seeking that out, in condensed form, is the sign of a deeply disturbed individual.

Salt and Vinegar are good, and always taste acceptable no matter the brand, McCoys are particularly tasty, same with all their crisps.

Cheese + Onion are possibly superior, but I hate the way they leave the taste in your mouth for hours afterwards.

Ready Salted are the devils work. Normal walkers anything are the most bland unsatisfying crisps in the world.

We all know the best crisps are supermarket own brand prawn cocktail shells, bacon rashers (cheapo Frazzles) and salt and vinegar crunchy sticks (Chipstick rip off). Massive bags, less than a quid.

Agreed Ready salted are a bit bland/boring ... but I'd rather boring 7 bags than have to cope with S&V in a variety pack!!!! Very Happy

What's more is that the 7 pack ready salted hoola hoops were an offer ... I do hope the 7 bag variety were too ... or it is a double whammy of fail me inadvertently picking up the variety pack!!! Crying or Very sad Laughing

And you chose them.
This further backs up your claim in other threads of being the most boring person on BCF.

Salt and vinegar -
I love the way they make your mouth tingle. Cheese and onion are horrid and make your breath smell, plain is boring, prawn cocktail too fishy - Nik Naks spare rib flavour has to be best ever crisp invented.
Oh, and a nice tortilla chip smothered in salsa, that's hard to beat too.
I'm hungry now, off to raid the fridge Laughing

Salt & Vinegar when there's absolutely nothing left to eat.

Prawn Cocktail are the most dire flavour in all creation.

In Defence of the humble ready salted - Its all about the following for the ultimate RS experience:

Squares

Discos

Pringles

Pom Bear.

Avoid Walkers Ready salted - the most shat crisp ever.

Another winner in my book is Asda Prawn Cocktail.

Salt and Vinegar are dis-gus-ting.

Ready Salted rules (especially with a scrape of marmite on white sliced bread)
