Been asked by a mate to ask on here.

What engines fit into a CLR125 frame?
Does anybody have one availible to sell within the next few weeks that still runs.

XR125, 2001 models are direct swap... fitted one to my CLR

a CG125 should fit to iirc.

how the fuk can you kill a clr125 engine? i tried with mine and it just wouldnt give up.

sold the bike for 550 after it wouldnt go over 60mph

He killed the 1st by running it out of oil. Fvck knows how but he did. The second was putting to much in it. then undo(ing) the sump plug and letting it out.
Thus caused it to loose power and then seize solid, I have no idea how or why, but he managed to ride 13miles with with gudgeon pin stuck in the cylinder as it had turned sideways and got stuck.

From looking at his 1st engine about 8months ago, he had fvck the barrel and piston.
With a possible twisted crank.

He paid for a engine of EGAY for £150 which lasted 50mile.

Please help.

CLR
Maybe a VTshadow.

well i have top end on my write off n bottom end in the garage...i'll look at the state of them n let you know!
