Hey people. Seens as though this is general, I have a general question for you. Lately my Pc has started to go reallly slow, takes ages to boot up etc. Anyway, all of a sudden, the mosue just froze, did the usual thing, re-booted, same thing, still frozen. So I switched of, checked wires, switched it on again, and the same thing, it won't move any where. Pain in the ass. I can only just about get to here and type this. Please someone help. It's a 'wireless optical' mouse and keyboard.

Check the IR sensor, try a normal mouse on it, if mouse works then you know it is the IR problem.

Problem solved. Occasionally you have to set up the channel frequency for it. I hadn't needed to do it for a while so was a bit flustered. Just remembered the when you said 'IR'. Thanks for replying.

It happened the other day WILDECELT, I was just on BCF and went to open another internet page and it just slow down so much. I had three web pages open. Then, I opened a fourth. But, it wouldn't open, it took ages and ages but nothing, I closed each of the three that was open down, but it wouldn’t let me so I had to choose the 'End Now' box. So I decided to restart windows, logged on to my account and waited for everything to start up. It took a little longer than normal. And ever since then it has just been really slow. I haven’t ever really downloaded anything to make it too much, I always try to keep my disk usage under 20GB. It has a capacity of 80.

I rebuild mine once per year. Keeps it sharp and working well.

Also gets rid of all the cr4p on the machine.
