The two part motorcycle test was called into question today in Prime Ministers questions. Gordon Brown says that he will look into the problems it has caused through the transport secretary. Lets hope sense prevails.

DfT officials get assigned the question, they'll dig out the stock answer they've been using to answer every other bit of correspondence they get on the subject, give it a polish and wing it up to private office with some background notes on why it's fine as it is, and how much money it's cost to implement and why a change would be a really poor idea.

Despite all the whining, at least you don't forfeit £80 for dabbing your foot doing the u-turn now!
