Have been watching a load of old TT races on youtube, I really like the smaller cc classes.

1990 SS400/J250 race- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bO5NUei2ORg

1992 SS400/125 race- www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfPjCeYLl7Y

*note the success of the fzr4 in TT Wink Smile
Also check out the price of fuel at the shell garage in the first vid, I think it had gone upto 60p per liter when I did my CBT Cool

Feel free to post up any other decent TT/ road racing clips.

Great videos. The smaller bikes are what attract me more to the Manx GP over the TT.

The 125s in the second video look tiny.

The FZRs don't do very well with the start in this video Wink

They look like the older Genesis model, its all about the 3tj Smile
They do all seem to be bogging down in 1st gear, must be the gearing.

Cool vid and fuel is even cheaper!

Nothing too extreme I know but it allways seems that the 125/ 250's bite the dust so dramatically, twitchy little buggers. Laughing

Also watching that I've realised what I like so much about my own RVF,
the 400's just seem so composed and steady in the way they go about..
People say that compared to modern middlewight bikes they're heavy and underpowered but riding them I find has allways inspired confidence.

It is one of my dreams to run the course one day, just for the experiance, it really would be awesome, couldn't immagine how you'd feel in a race though.
