i have 2 plates, and 2 chassis.

is there any way i can find out which plate goes on which frame?

ive got a 50/50 chance if i guess as i need to send off for the V5's

Armed with the numbers, I am pretty sure that is the sort of thing you can simply phone DVLA and ask. They should be able to sort out for you!! Thumbs Up

i dont have any paperwork. i need to send off for them but have to write down which plate and chassis number of each form.

ill try calling them tomorrow then i guess. thought there might be a dodgy website i could use

If they are different years you might be able to tell by the frame numbers. Many times it's listed in the workshop manuals that number xxxxx is up to x year etc. Dunno if it applies to Cagivas though.

If I had to take a stab at it I'd match the earlier plate to the lower frame number. Another clue might be had just by going on general condition. If one is manky dirty and the other is very clean then the plates might be the same.

Doesn't always work (esp if they have been off the road and out of the system for a while)
