Just made the mistake of downgrading from a n95 to the new ipone 3gs. Cant say im very impressed gonna give it another day then send it back and get a blackberry or another n95.

You cant transfer anything to it unless your using i shite tunes.
Unsure about the sd card but your probably right.

other stupid things which have got me pissed at it.

You cant use music as a ringtone unless you bought it from itunes or you rip and convert the music.

I cant access the equalization settings unless you exit the ipod app and go manually into the sound settings.

You cant use custom text message tunes or music.

You cant use music as you alarm clock tone.

You cant put the phone on standby and leave an app running as the app pauses along with the phone.

Map software lets the screen go to standby while your trying to use it to navigate (might be able to set it to stay on but i cant find anything)

Running apps eats the battery alot quicker than i expected.

Ive had it 4 days now and honestly up to now i think is a load of gimicy crap. Its fast but thats about all its good for. fast at disapointing you.

Yeah fair enough there is.
But every other phone has them as standard.

I shouldnt be expected to have to download countless apps to bring it up to the standard of phones 2 years old considering the price of the thing.

Its probably just me being a whiney arse but i just dont seem to be getting along with this phone at all Sad

Can't fault mine, I'm an advanced iphone user and never had a problem after upgrading from an N95.

It's likely that your bootrom is too modern for a decent jailbreak - you'll be able to do it but will have to redo it every time you restart your phone.

All the themes and that are pretty crap TBH, I did have the Illumine theme like above for a while but I always end up going back to the standard.

The main things I use are lockinfo and the native tethering. There's other minor useful things as well that just make the phone how it should have come out of the factory.
