Mr Sparks! and I went laning today, starts off a few miles north of Portsmouth and the top point ends up just outside Alton ... with the now renowned 'water lane' being the one that is the turnaround point.

See map for route, Blue line is the route, red line is the actual route taken.

It was really slimy out, so plenty of sliding about!! .. it had been raining overnight, so plenty of splashy puddles too Cool

I even put the video camera on at one point (water lane) and followed Mr Sparks! ... where he to get proceeded to get a bit carried away ... Shocked

Nice timing of putting the video camera on Thumbs Up ... I always seem to miss the crashes and things Rolling Eyes Laughing

That 'loggy' bit looks horrible .... I can see me having a smoke break after that bit .

What is even better timing was that when I set off, the camera was actually slightly at the wrong angle (pointing down), but after brushing some leaves/branches, it actually put the angle almost perfect!! Cool

The loggy bit is actually the bit you said looked easy last week (i.e. without the logs and with Sparks! and boundy both stranded!! Very Happy).

The logs actually make what was turning into an impossible pass (by riding) a doddle!! Cool

Pushing it wasn't actually /that/ tiring, seemed to roll along okay, but by time I got to end of lane I was hurting a bit Laughing fine now though!

Anyone got a right side radiator for sale? Laughing Mr. Green

Big thanks to BlueSV's friend for letting me leave it in his driveway and a MASSIVE thanks to Dom for coming up in the rain on his KTM 950 Adventure to give me a lift home then for coming up in the van with me to rescue the wounded WR!

Nick, where's the pic of me in a hedge?

Which just goes to prove that not only can I not read a map ... but I cant read how difficult terrain is either.
Maybe the enduro career will have to go on hold.

I thought the logs (wet and at jaunty angles) made it look even harder than ruts (which I tend to stick in and then the bike cant slip away from me Smile

Sparks: I will have a dig about in the garage on Wednesday.

Cheers silky Smile If you have one, how much do you want? and if I pay for it can you send via next day courier (I can arrange it if you like to be collected from you!) as I'm meant to be riding in Kent on saturday Smile

BTW.. the logs werent that bad, pretty sure my front wheel barely touched them as the first logs act as a ramp almost... before the logs were in this bit was bloody impossible to ride over, no matter what speed you go or if you try to wheely it .. it was just too akward!

Embarassed I did give it a crack, but failed .... thought I had removed it, just re-watched, and clearly I hadn't!! Confused

So it doesn't draw attention to it further I have removed Svenns comment (valid as it was!! Very Happy) and deleted the botched cover-up ...

There's nothing in there except £1.62. So seriously broke for the first time in my life, otherwise I'd have a licence by now.

Your vid was also mentioned on the TBM forums, though not in quite so derogatory a manner. Saying that, I haven't checked that board today Mr. Green
