As long as you don't take the piss with revving the tits off it, sod them. You've every right to warm it up on your property.

Anyway, you'll just get the obligatory 'when I had a BSA/Triumph/Francis Barnet stories or 'They don't make them like they used to from the blokes. The biddys will moan.

plus they're all probably deaf.

My next door neighbor used to have a 350 YPVS that he used to warm up every morning. The noise of a 2 stroke doesn't seem to carry through walls so well as a 4.

If you really want to piss them off, get yourself a 250 Wink

I've got no advice on the bike but can I suggest spending some time cleaning the yard up a little.

Very Happy

Don't worry about it, even if you do wake them up, it's not like they've got jobs to go to is it? They can kip all day!!! Just don't take the piss making a racket, do what you gotta do and ride off into the sunset.

Fuck them.

I have to take my bike down a small tight alley to get it out onto the roads and I start mine while still in the garden. When going down the alley the noise gets really loud with the echo, etc.

Besides, most of the cunts that live nearby all have dogs that bark all the fucking time!!!

Just repeating what everyone else has said but, it's only a 125, it's not like a Harley or anything.

As long as you don't take the plss then you have every right to own a bike...

They're going to die soon anyway.

Has nobody learned from White Beard Man? Don't mess with the OAPs, they might set your house on fire.

stop being nice!! start it up on your drive, leave it running on a bit of choke, take a LONG TIME putting your gloves on, and let the silly old goat get cold! after the second or third time... and he realises that you are playing him at his own game, he will get fed up and go away..

i had something similar where i used to live.
he was a misery and if you gave in to one thing he would then start moaning/making a fuss about something else.

Depends on the time - personally if it's before 9am (or 10am on a Sunday) i'll roll my bike to the bottom of the road before I start it, then ride off and take it gently for the first few mins to let it warm up.

Coming back I'll switch it off as soon as I park it unless it's after 10pm, then I'll switch it off while rolling down the road.

Not much hassle to me and I think my neighbours understand I'm being reasonable.
