I was in the beta, was not that impressed. Had a great concept but didn't deliver and you never felt like you were in an MMO

Have they changed that?

I know as most mmo's it will get better over time and that's why I usually wait before taking the full plunge.

Just got Promoted to Lt Commander and now have a shinny new ship. I want to fight the Borg. The open instance is a brilliant idea, unlike WOW you don;t need a party for an instance you just turn up and there arfe usually others there and you help each other out.

i was tempted to get it but heard a lot of bad stuff about it, i shall wait until there are free trials for it. although i think there only letting people who know other people into a trial or something like that.

What sort of bad stuff its been fine for me no technical issues and few bugs that I have seen, I worked out in a mission that instead of destroying blast door if you punch them you get magically transported to the otherside Laughing

heard ground combat is awful and all the missions are the same

The ground combat is fine, very much like Kotor, the missions are the same but no more so than any other MMO I have played.
